Added letters from Ellen Terry under manuscripts (with corresponding JPEG photos) in the Bishop Collection as well as a number of new books added from Mosher’s library; improved the cross-link functionality of several pages. Added four new essays written by Bishop appearing in the Delaware Bibliophiles’ newsletter, ENDPAPERS, including “The French Connection:–Thoughts from a Pandit in Switzerland,” and “Lights, Action, Camera” which chronicles a Mosher book appearing in an upcoming film entitles “The Secret Life of Words” starring Tim Robbins and Julie Christy, et.al. Added 2004 Club Bindery exhibition with links to the Mosher Press Exhibitions page. Changed Bishop’s e-mail link to his new address at mosher@ptd.net.

Four additional essays have been added to Bishop’s published writings (see Opening Credits page). In addition to a number of small changes, transcriptions to the “Piracy Controversy” links were corrected. Several more books were added to the Books from Mosher’s Library in the Bishop Collection. A new acquisition was added to the books printed on real vellum (Primavera). Several new bindings on Mosher books (with links to pictures) have also been added to the Mosher Books in Fine Bindings in the Bishop Collection including a Rubáiyát and an exhibition binding by René Chambolle on a copy of Aucassin & Nicolete.

A Google search feature is now part of the Table of Contents page. This feature self-indexes periodically so recent additions, like those listed immediately below for 7 Dec. 2004, will eventually be made part of the index Google searches. Added The Collected Works of William Morris, Lang’s Grass of Parnassus, two issues of The Quest, and the 1870 issue of Rossetti’s Poems (which is also the source text for Mosher’s publication of 1902) to the books from Mosher’s library in the Bishop Collection. Added two illuminated Mosher books, Félise and The Roadmender, and three Launder bindings and their pictures linked to the bindings page (also a sample Club binding on Swinburne is now linked to a picture), and lastly a Dec. 1921 letter from Mosher was added with link to the actual letter.

Added four essays from the Delaware Bibliophiles Endpapers under Credits / Philip R. Bishop: “Unexpected Kindnesses” dealing with the many instances where people have contributed gifts to the Mosher Press collection of R. R. Bishop; an intriguing article based on “The Mosher Bookplate” and what it does and does not represent; an essay entitled “A Little Celebration” which discusses Bishop’s completion of the most difficult series in the Mosher canon; and an essay on “More Kindnesses Remembered” which brings the gifts to the Mosher collection up-to-date. A new book was also added to the books from Mosher’s library, and general maintenance to make the website accessible to Internet search engines.

Added eight books to “Books from Mosher’s Library” (several inscribed or with letters) and added two Mosher books to “Books Printed on Roman Vellum” all in the Bishop collection. Also added letter from Charles C. Bubb of the Clerk’s Press and an important letter from Mosher to George Charles Williamson to the “Manuscript Material” and a rare boxed set of Stevenson’s books from the Vest Pocket Series, now all in the Bishop collection.

Added several books to the “Books from Mosher’s Library” in the Bishop collection, added two new essays to Bishop’s writings obtained by first clicking on Opening Credits, added more textual links to additional essays in the same section, added numerous JPEGs to a book added under “Samples of other Illuminated Mosher Books” in the Fine Bindings section, added Mosher letter to the holdings in the Bishop collection, and various & sundry smaller changes.

Added three new essays/articles and their links written by Bishop in the newly appearing issue of Endpapers; added an article on cover designs and its corresponding link; provided a link to the text of an address commemorating the unveiling of a plaque in Portland; added correspondence, and books from Mosher’s library, to the Bishop collection; general maintenance and other minor changes.
